1. Put all your hair in a high ponytail (not too high, though. If you have bangs, separate them) and tie it there with a ponytail.
2. Then, grab a clip (the small ones with "teeth" on them) and place it on the ponytail you've just made, to pick up the hair and make it nice-looking.
3. After that, head to your local store and purchase a hairband
that has a small braid-type style that matches your hair and simply place it on your hair.
4. Want to save your hairband-purchasing money for candy, or can't find any hairband that matches your hair color?
5. Then just grab one strand about one-inch thick just above your left or right ear, and start doing a simple, three-strand braid.
6. When you're done, bring the braid over your head to have that hairband look, and place it behind (or just above) your oppossite ear, and put it in place with two criss-crossed bobby pins.

I wouldn't get it cut too short ( like shorter than shoulder lengh would not be good i dont think) ....i'd have it razor, shoulder lengh, and have it thinned a bit, that should take care of your problem.

Short hair can be sexy on a chubby face. Go with a short bob and get it layered down to the chin. This will taper your face and give a slimmer profile and magnify the full features of your face.
I would go alittle below the shoulders with some nice 90 degree layers. Try out some bangs... the ones that are side swept. That should help. Usually... when it hair is longish and down it makes the face look thinner. My face looks chubby when my hair it up. I tried to find some styles but I'll keep looking and check back

right after you get out of the shower, get some mouse, and lean over and run it through your hair, i like that way that looks!
I like mousse. my hair's kind of the same way. Use mousse, do a little scrunching with your fingers, blow dry it a bit, and that should work.

but anyways take a shower (at night). straighten your hair while its 89% dry. and then just simply braid your hair. and then sleep with it. and the next day just apply moose or whatever.
my sister has hair like that..and what she does..is she runs water through her hair, not a lot! ...and then scrunches it ( without hairspray) take a lil bit of gel, and scunch it...make sure its not a lot of gel cause your not scrunching it. and then blow dry it on low.

Well you could straighten your hair and then take one of those things like a straightner excpet they come with wavy plates called a waver, and do some nice smooth waves, or you could wet your hair, brush it straight and scrunch it with some gel in the palm of your hand. You could also straighten your hair and then take a curling iron and give them some big, light tossled hair.
And you want the tousled beach like hair, my friend got a perm called ''ocean wave'' with light waves and it looked really pretty.
However, if these don't work you could ask a local salon on how to get these looks!

okay heres what u do... And this is what ive done... okay I went to a hair salon and had them thin my hair out, now you can tell them that u dont wanna like really thin it out but they'll just take some of the hair out, and then get a light perm with big rollers... itll come out in like wavy beach hair... then just let it air dry all the time because if u blow dry it, it does get frizzy, but if u dont it comes out like ur going to the beach, or u just came from the beach... good luck hope it works

Well in my thinking you could try straightening your hair slightly not too straight at night then braid your hair in two parts like making pigtail. When you wake up in the morning open up the braids and spray with hairspray if it turns out like you wanted it
buy those soft curlers and sleep in them. it is soooo easy and you save so much time in the morning. you just take them out and only brush the top of your hair otherwise you brush right through the curls. then use hairspray, not mousse. ive found that a great brand of hairspray is matrix hairspray. and for looser, messier curls, you separate each curl in two. it is a more casual, less shirley temple look.
then for waves, sleep in braids. (the number depending on how wavy you want your hair. i would probably recommend about eight or so) then you just take them out in the morning and just brush the top of your hair. you can use hairspray, but i usually dont need it, but then again, my hair holds waves really well......
and if you shower in the morning, scrunch your hair with mousse and it looks pretty good but might get a little frizzy.

I found music magazines to be a great source of haircut photos. There are books at salons that have nothing but page after page of haircuts. Go look at the photo books at a cool salon, not the cheap $10 haircut place, a real salon.

So anyways, if your really that much emo, you must let your fringes grow very long if they aren't already, and on the left side, cut the fringe down diagonally, so it covers one eye. Then, get it cut very short at the back, about 1"-1.5" long. Use a hair paste, and spike it up at the back.
Then ta-da you'll have emo hair.

Sorry, I don't have a picture or anything, but I do know a way. I have that type of hair also, and I clip my bangs up with a barette. Then I put my hair in a braid. If some pieces fall out, that's okay, just clip them back in with bobby pins. If you don't want to do that, if you wear goggles it will hold your hair back. Or just wear a swim cap. Hope I helped and have fun at the beach! :)
You can put it up if you make your pony tail high, on the curve of your head and scoop all the hair up. Then put on a head band and secure with grips.

Hi. I believe the hairstyle Victoria Beckham has now is a stacked, angled bob. Your hair dresser is probably familiar with Posh's new cut. It is great.
My own opinion is that it will look good on you. Certainly, it will be a change and you might need a day to get used to it.
If you are ready to be daring and cut your hair, it seems like a great cut to go with for your hair.

First you need the right face shape, second it's a really trendy haircut that needs to be maintained alot with color and trims.Third i think it is an asymmetrical cut . Just show them a picture. I think its called an A-LINE bob. But its a very modified and custom A-LINE bob.
I would highly reccomend you go by referrals or you see their portfolio.
That haircut requires alot of skill and precision b/c of all the angles and hand positioning involved. You don't want your hair to get jacked up b/c someone lies to you about being able to do that cut.
Also you should tailor the haircut to fit you and your face.

i have natural curly hair. i straighten my every day and it takes me about an hour but my hair is long, about down to my elbows when i stand up straight. so i think it would be easier for you. i also died my hair like that in the fist pict and it turned out perfect. i think you should do it.

I think girls with curly hair look great when it's really long and they wear it down. Just remember to put some of that frizz serum in it.
Shoulder legnth. I probably wouldn't reccomend bangs, simply because they'd get out of control. When you wash your hair to use a moisturizing line of shampoo so your curls can look lucious.

I would have to say long layers. If you want bangs, keep them as long as your shortest layer. That way you can blend them in if you want without worrying about them growing out at a different or awkward length.

I have curly hair myself, not as thick as I'd like it to be, but a hairstyle with lots of layers , would thin it out a little and provide a new do without cutting it all off.
There are so many , you can find many new ideas online as well in hairstyle magazines that they sell in the stores.
And to help tame down the curl, try some Garnier fructis 3 minute hair mask and try the leave on hair conditioner, it will make your hair feel absolutely love the way it makes your hair smoother and silkier, your hair will love you for it!!

If you want really nice natural highlights, pick the highlight color that is one to two tones close to your base. Any further than that, it won't look natural anymore. This is good for low maintenance kind of person...someone who like to go to the salon a couple times a year. So even if you miss a salon visit, these highlights will still look natural than really faked washed out ones. If you pick highlights that are like red or burgandy, you'll have to visit the salon like one or twice a month to get them touched up if you want to keep the highlights that color.
To get a pink streak, it is possible if there is a really strong dye on dark hair color. But most likely, if they don't have the dye, they will just dye your the part blonde first and then dye it to pink. And they don't last long! In a couple weeks, it will just turn to a really pale pink..if not blonde.
Highlights lasts long depending how good you take care of them. Use certain shampoos and conditionders that are specially made for dyed hair so that it protects and seal in the color.

If you are really tall you may suit longish hair, but if you want that guaranteed "hot" look that all the girls will go for opt for spiky. Personally I like guys who are comfortable enough to experiment with their hair style so they don't always look the same as all the other guys. hair-- (mine is similar) i usually only shampoo once a week to cut down on frizz, i put conditioner in it afterwards and don't rinse it (just about a quarter sized though) then i put scrunching gell in it. it helps
We have almost identical appearances! Except I'm 3 inches taller and 5 pounds heavier. People like us look really good in tight, fitted pants and skirts (like Hardtails, So-Lows, tight jeans, etc...) and looser tops. I definitely reccommend Lucky Brand Jeans.

You should have your hair professionally straightened. you know that permanent kind. but dont cut it. cos hair always looks nicer long. especially on shorted ladies like us. you should have it framed around your face though cos you dont want it to look like your drowning in your hair!
but you are lucky (like me) to have no chest. it means you can wear any top you want (within reason) and where you arent showing off cleavage - you dont look like a slut! wah hey!

it doesnt matter if it is wet or dry. if you do it wet, then it will take a long time to dry. since its all wrapped up. after you take the rollers out put in some harispary.
I use the hot hair rollers that you heat up first before putting in your hair and clipping them.
I blow dry my hair out. It works better that way. Then I spray a leave in conditioner that protects my hair from the heat..just a light spray with thermasilk. I roll up my hair and clip it in. I'll have already dressed so I go to put on my make up while my hair sets. After about 10 min. I unroll my hair out, making sure I don't tug the rolls out because that will destroy the curl and use a light hold hair spray all over. I shake out my hair and scrunch it up with my fingers and viola! volume and waves.
If you use a light hair spray it won't make your hair feel like hard plastic.

The Chop - in basic bob-length with irregular ends. It gave my fine, sparse hair both style and shape and was easy to maintain, when cut above the shoulders. It worked lots better than a totally blunt cut, which looked limp and lacked dimension.

This is a short, unique looking hair cut. I personally like it. I hope you like it too.
I natuarally have curly/wavey hair. I straighten it almost everyday, and it gets dry a lot on the tips. I always straighten my bangs to the side, it it just looks dumb. Then sometimes I will let my hair dry curly, but it drys frizzy. Its hard to explain...but nevertheless, I was going to get my hair trimmed, or cut and I wanted a cute style. Im not sure what to get though. My hair is 3 inches above my belly button in the back, and about 6 inches above my belly button in the front. I would suggest that you spend more of your budget on the waist up, because that is what will be visible to your customers most of the time. (In other words, buy a cheaper pair of jeans or slacks and spend the extra on a better quality jacket or top). I'd also give some thought to ease of care -- you will be working in an environment where people are walking around with chemicals, dyes, shampoos, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if you are expected to help keep the salon tidy when you're not busy. Get stuff that is washable (not stuff that has to be dry-cleaned after one wearing).
As for your hair -- leave it for now, and get to know the stylists! I'm sure they will have great ideas for you. If they have apprentices, you might even get the cut for free. Good luck and congrats on the new job.
For make-up, you should by make-up there, as it will be good quiality %26amp;%26amp; they might give you a discount. also, you would be modelling it for them as everyone who goes there would be speaking to you. You could ask the salon, or go on youtube for natural make-up tips as they have alot.
For hair, just a nice, natural layered look is all you need and if you wanted you could straighten it.
wow, you dying!!! how about simple eye makeup with green liner and brown and gold shadow. You can have lip liner along with the lipstick or skip both and wear lip gloss. You can always try a side part, it makes you look different. For clothes you can try to wear big earrings with your hair pulled back. Or get side swept bangs.
another great store is The Limited and even Target has gotten alot cuter clothes. The way you style your hair depends on your age. Curling your hair is always really cute. For the first day do your makeup how you normally do it and maybe ask the other girls at the salon any tips they have because they've been working there longer.

I would curl your hair, its more romantic!! Then go light on the make up. I would do a light foundation to match your skin tone then a soft blush and a calm but stuttle peach or light pink eyeshadow, i wouldnt do any mascara but you could try it then right as you walk out then door finish up with a lip gloss to match the eye shadow. Well, if you have the time to straighten your hair, and you decide to, be sure to put heat protecting product on your hair before doing it so you don't dry your hair out. if you have sidebangs, wear them down and put half of your hair up. IF you decide to curl your hear, then I'd suggest a cute headband with the long ribbon at the end. they look good in curly hair. use a heat protecting product for curling it, too. For make up, try a light eye shadow and lip gloss. not too much, you don't want to look overdone.
If you do straighten it, do it the night before and put it in a bun so it will be a little wavy. Then put it in a low ponytail and drape it over your shoulder. keep it loose and have a little hair out of it infront. curl that. put those hairs off to the side. it looks better with a side part then in the middle.
I found that for going to the movies a cute hair-do is two braids with some cute hair clips. I also like putting it into a low-ponytail then from there, flipping it up with a big hair clip. For make-up, don't fret. Just a little will do. maybe a dark shade of eye shadow paired with dark mascara and a hint of Rosy blush will do great. If you want to bring a cute matching purse, that'd work too. For shoes try something comfy but not too casual and not too fancy that goes well with the outfit. Remember, just relax and be yourself. Most of them have their hair straightened. The process is called the Japanese straightening perm. It can start from $250 and up depending hair length and city and hairdresser.
If you go this route, make sure the salon and hairdresser are using the japanese straightening perm and not some other chemical method. The only reason why i say this is because the japanese straightening method is supposed to not be damaging to your hair, but leaves it soft and shiny. other methods may have a more drying effect.

you could put it half up, or put it in a cute little bun but leave the bangs loose. and by bun i mean this:
put it in a pony tail, or gather it all like your going to have it in a pony tail, and then twist it, and then twist it all around and put a hair tie around it all, i'm not sure what its called and i'm sure you know what it is. its just hard to describe!
or you could try to dry it with a brush quick, but leave it down and bring cute headbands. if your hair is straight then how i dry mine in a hurry is that i just flip my head so i'm looking down, and brush it that way, and you should always have de-tangling spray. it works when your hair is wet and dry. and it smells good!

Can you bring a blow-dryer? If not, you can do a french braid (easier to do when hair is wet anyways), or you could just do a low ponytail. That's really all I got. Wet hair is hard to manage for me...

You could add a little mousse and comb it taught with a part on the side. Think Betty Boop. Other wise, you can put in some gel and scrunch away!!
