Anyway, I was wondering how she puts cute little ribbons in her hair all the time, like the top left picture in the image above. I'm also wondering about any other cute ideas for hair styles I could use with side bangs and accessories that go well, because my hair right now doesn't really express much about me, and I can't really do anything cute with it because it's just straight and plain. I've always liked headbands, but when I use them the traditional way by pulling back all of my hair it looks awful. Would it look nice if I put one in the middle of my hair separating the bangs from the rest? Lol sorry so many questions, but any answers would be nice. =)

ya she does havecute bangs... for the ribbon look just take a ribbon, tie it around your head, make a bow, put the bow in the back and u got a ribbon/headband. try making a bun and leaving the bangs out as well, good luck!!

I know what you mean. I had incredibly boring hair, and I got side bangs. The side bangs did give my hair more personality, but something else you might want to consider is getting alot of layers in your hair. It will give you more options and such. My hair has side bangs and layers like I said, and I like to use little clips or bows that just clip in my hair. They serve no actual function and i am constantly having to push my hair out of my face. It is a very agrivating hair style. A little bit of hairspray can help though to keep it out of your eyes. Side bags are cute and easy to style. You can put your hair up in a twist and wear it with side bands, but if you want something casual, and easy to maintain, then, I would suggest a head band. There are many different types of headbands out there. I personally like the headband wraps.

Try a straightening shampoo/conditioner and then use a straightening products. Also, maybe blowout with a brush before straightening.

i have the EXACT same problem.

usually mine curls when I have dead ends and it's time for a trim. So try to get a trim often, and if that's not possible, try adding a straightening cream or mousse or something just to the ends.

I have super thick hair too, and normally after I wash and blow dry it I flat iron it out with ceramic flat irons [they work wonders!] It's much easier to style it that way. Be sure to put oil sheen or some type of oil in it b4 and after blow drying. [don't make it greasy tho] I also have a cinnamon red color in my hair. It's not too bright but in the sun it's sooo pretty. If you want to try a cut, I recommend getting layers. They are fun and extra cute when you curl your hair. [get a professional to do it] You dont always have to keep your hair down or in a pony tail... maybe pull the top hair back and have the back down. or if you do have it in a pony tail give your self a bang to the side. you can also search the net for diff. hair styles. I have been a barber stylist for over 10 year %26amp; before you start thinking - just because it looks cute in the pic that it will look good on you... not! You need to consider the shape of your face %26amp; the texture of your hair (is thin, thick, coarse, slight wavy, what does really straight mean??) Not ever face or hair type can wear ever style. The 1st thing you might consider is finding a competent hair stylist and going in for a consultation (not all stylist are created equal). They have all types of books you can talk over about your new look.

It seems like a lot, but trust me , you can't put the hair back on(unless you don't mind wearing weave or a wig). Kidding aside, a great cut can end up looking so WRONG and the stylist gets the blame for the clients bad choice.

OMG....I was just in this situation (but with short hair) I was freaking out over side-sweped (sp?) bangs....but then i just went for it and they are soooooo cute....I got my hair cut above my shoulder,the bangs,and layers with a razor..a razor makes your hair whispy and kinda spikey...and I TOTALLY recommend it.....you should get the bangs and a few layers put in your hair and it would look super cute.....

Wow, you have nice hair btw. ;] Well you should tease the top layers of your hair. And to do this, you'll be needing a fine toothed comb and some hairspray. First you get some hair at the top and spray the roots. Then, use your fine toothed comb and brushed the hairs downward towards your scalp vertically. So your hair has to be all the way up. Then you just do this all around the crown of your head. Then, you comb down all the knots and tangles that you made until it looks like the girl in the picture.

Old fashioned rollers work great (Not heat rollers)! Wash your hair, then while it is still wet/damp, put the rollers in. They are very cheap and atleast for me, work great! You need to keep them in for atleast a few good hours. So I'd sleep in them, or if you're going out at nigh, keep them in all day.

They smaller sized rollers make tighter ringlets, while the larger sized rollers create looser waves (but still ringlet-like).

Just a tip - buy a pack of extra bobby pins! You will need them! And also, hairspray. But don't use any until you take the rollers out!

Hi.. You haven't stated whether your hair is long, medium or short.

Wash your hair, condition it and then braid it before going to bed. . Sleep on it and in the morning take out the braids and you'll have your ringlets with out perms or curling irons, both which will damage your hair.. Good luck..

Both my girls have curly hair and I have tried lots of products. They are now 6 and 8 and I have found these products work the best. L'Oreal Vive for curly hair shampoo and conditioner, (the baby products don't work well on curly hair, neither do the shampoo/conditioner combo) then after the bath I use Redken outshine, it is around $16.00 but it last the two of them a few months at least and their hair is long. Put it in towel dried hair and it helps it lay much better and also helps it for a day or two (if you miss a washing, dont put it on dry hair) don't use too much and don't put it right on the root area or it looks greasy. I also use Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Moisture Mist to wet it a little in the morning instead of water, it is less drying and helps with the frizz. Its around $8.00 and last a while also. They are cheapest at Wal-Marts hair salon. I am a SAHM and its not that expensive because they last so long.

I have also used products on my kids hair since they were little to control the frizz, ignore the people freaking on the chemicals, they are in the top percentage of their class so it has not hurt them.

How do I get rid of my damaged hair?

i have bra strap length hair and its horribly damaged from bleaching (i went from dark brown to blonde), coloring (red, went back to brunette), i use a flat iron on my hair twice a week and/or hot rollers. now my hair is frizzy and fried and falling out :'(

i want to cut it off but i dont want to do it all at once (short hair is cute but doesnt suit my face shape). should i just get an inch trimmed very month or so?

here are some home remedies which are very good for dry hair. i had dry hair myself but when i tried these tips it was great! they've never been dry again!

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Beat up on an Egg: Separate the white of an egg from the yolk, and whip the white thoroughly. Then add 1 tablespoon of water to the yolk and blend until the mixture is creamy. Next, mix the white and yolk together. Wet your hair with warm water, remove the excess moisture, and apply the egg mixture to your scalp with your fingertips. Massage gently until the froth is worked into your scalp, and then rinse the hair with cool water. Keep applying the mixture until it is used up. Continue to rinse until all of the egg is washed away

Go for the Mayo: Heat up one half cup of mayonnaise until it becomes an oily, white goo and apply to dry, unwashed hair. Cover your hair with a plastic bag and leave on for at least 15 minutes. Then, rinse and shampoo thoroughly.

Mix up a Tropical Treat: Mash one over-ripe banana (the blacker, the better) with a mushy, rotten avocado. Massage this exotic puree into your hair and leave on for at least 15 minutes before washing out鈥n the kitchen sink!).

Grab a Cold One. Beer can give your dry hair a healthy sheen. Before you blow-dry or style, use a pump bottle to spray brew onto your hair. The beer will leave your hair shiny and sleek and its odor will disappear quickly.

In addition to using these home remedies regularly to avoid dry hair, try the following preventative measures:

Avoid overshampooing. Shampooing can wash away the hair's protective oils, so try washing less often and use a mild shampoo labeled "for dry or damaged hair."

Condition regularly. Conditioners protect the hair鈥檚 cuticle layer from splitting from the shaft. Pick a conditioner that works well for your hair and use it after every shampoo.

Wear a hat. Too much exposure to wind and sun can leave hair thirsty.

Trim off split ends. The biggest problem caused by dry hair is split ends. Schedule a trim every six to eight weeks to keep fraying ends under control.

Ease up on the heat. Heat (in the form of blow dryers, as well as straightening and curling irons) can quickly dry out hair. Let your hair air dry occasionally. Try using plastic cylinder rollers to straighten hair by wrapping slightly moist hair under and around rollers for about 10 minutes. For curling, try using sponge rollers overnight or sleeping with moist braids.

Don't swim without a cap. Use a rubber cap to protect your hair from the damaging effects of chlorine. If you must forgo a cap, rub a spoonful of olive oil into your hair before diving in.

Another thing is also putting in lotion in your hair after you have gotten out of the shower and you can also put in lotion in hair after you have dried it.

Just rub some lotion on your finger tips and run it through your hair evenly.

Also, something that will help your hair is to take COLDshowers. What most people dont know is that if you take hot showers, the heat gets rid of the oils and other things that your hair needs to be kept healty and shiney.

What I would do is make a flat pouf that goes along the top of your head and tie it off with an elastic! Then you just curl here and there, but leave parts of it blank! Add a tiara and your done!

Yeah, it's cute... on the 14 and 15 year old boys that I teach. I like my guys to look like men, meaning they can actually groom their hair. Guys with shaggy hair look like immature little kids.

Next time you get your hair cut ask them to 'thin' it. It's not really layering, it's a way of cutting so that you still have a nice style but it takes some of the weight out.

okay... well, you can get your hair thinned out. that's one option. another thing you can do is to get your hair chemically straightened, which should weigh down the bulk considerably. and then you can add layers, which give body to your hair without making it so big %26amp; in your face. or, if you're really desperate like me, do all 3! i'm telling you... it really helps!

i also have very thick curly frizzy hair! I've tried everything!Dont' ever get it thinned! some stylists think that's the answer..nope! it only makes it more poofy and frizzy as the little chopped hairs grow out. Anyway, I've heard microfiber towels work well. Don't touch your hair too much, just style and leave it! (i know it's hard to do!) I use mouse through all layers, then gel..a good liquid gel like FX melting gel. it spreads out easier than thick gels. THen I finish once i'm done touching and scrunching..with a curling hairspray. just at the ends where it gets dry and puffy. I once found a forum for curly hair online...curly girls, or curl friends or sometihng. a lot of good info..just try looking up "curly hairstyles" etc... good luck.

You can ask a hair stylist to give you a thinning cut. They'll cut it a certain way that takes some of the volume out. Put your hair products in while you're still in the shower and comb/brush through. Wet your hair before each time you want to change the style and add more product. You can also blow it straight- putting tension on it with a heavy brush as you blow dry- and straighten it with a ceramic flat iron. Make sure you part it in flat thin sections for each stroke of the flat iron. It sounds like your hair might be textured and that's the most versatile. Trust me, I am Irish, French, African and Blackfoot Indian. My hair is cool as h*ll. I CAN wear an afro or curls, waves or have straight hair. It looks natural where I'm choosing to go kinky/frizzy or silky straight. If I can get my hair to look pretty much any way I want, anyone with textured hair can too. You just need to experiment more.

curl it! If you're not planning to cut, curl it or add a little wave to it. It dresses your usual hairstyle without doing any drastic changes. if you have bangs, you can pull it back and add a little height to it when you do so. That's what i did recently in a wedding and got a lot of good feedback :)

Another is to do the versace hair...you know, pull back hair and tie it like a ponytail but you have a pouf at front. it's neat and it's classy :)

Well you can go to a hair stylist and get a cute spunkey shoulder length layered cut. And use a little gel or hair spray and flip up the ends just a tad. It looks really good.

I know about this one hairstyle that you are going to get alot of compliments on. I still wear it to school from time to time. But you need shoulder length or longer. OK

1. you tie your hair up to a pony tail so it can hold your hair up all day. If you don't then eventually it will fall off.

2. you would have gto get a butterfly clip. You know the giant ones? or some people would call it an octupus clip.

3. twist your hair upward and use a butterfly clip and secure it tightly over where you had your pony tail band.

It should look like feathers from a peacock. It would sound weird in here.. but when you try it... the result will be fantastic.!!!

If you wear it with character then it looks great. My best friend Joe has a massive mop of curly hair, it's a lovely reddish brown colour, and we call it his Joe-Fro. It's such an integral part of him that if he cut it off he'd look silly.
