well my uniform is SO boring and i need some cute ideas to make it cuter. link too?? and only stores in canada plz! lol .. soo anythingg.. oh and what should i wear for the first day and how should i do my hair ?..

i was thinking about wearing a polo shirt with my skirt and a long necklace and my knee length socks with flatz.. and i dunno about my hair.. soo PLZ HELP.. anything like ides on how to do my hair, accesories and what shoes to wear.. plzz have some links too.. and only stores in canda.. tnx!

Also, check out (when it's released in August) the newest issues of Seventeen; CosmoGirl; and/or TeenVogue. They usually have great advice on accessorizing a blah uniform, and ideas for your hair too.

This is just from my experience too, but I like putting ribbons in my hair (if I'm going for a preppy look) and putting different vintage pins on my shirt and skirt. If you have to wear regulation shoes, try getting away with wearing funky laces or ribbons.

Or, if your school is super-strict, like mine, then try accesorizing and making your bag super-unique. Glue colourful buttons on it, sew cotton-lace to the straps, or cover it in funky fur!

Have fun, and remember that you don't need to follow what's hot now. Do your own thing, and you'll feel so much more stylish. :D

try something funky, full of spark that is eye-catching. colorful knee-highs give a classic prep school twist, a good necklace- could be cheap from target or forever 21, or maybe a tiffany- whatever floats your boat, diamond or pearl stud earrings-no hoops, they don't really look good in most uniforms, try some cute bangles, maybe a pretty matching ribbon in your hair, a headband would look nice, flats are the next must have. remember to have fun with it, if you don't like it, it will show and no one will like it either.

I have the same hair as you. Try getting long side bangs. The longer your hair is, the longer you want ur side bangs. To style, all you need is a blow dryer and a flat brush comb.

Blow dry your hair to fluff it and then then brush your hair over. It will give ur hair more volume.

You should cut your hair to about shoulder length. That way you will get fuller hair, so it would appear less thin. but for the greasyness i would just say get a good shampoo. good luck!

Maybe you can get some side bangs with choppy layers to make you hair appear thicker and tell you hairdresser to keep it the same length.

i have a round face and thick black hair as well. i just got the haircut that victoria beckham had...i think it's called the pob--you know where it's short in the back and long in the front (but she cut it shorter now). it looks really cute on me. i wasn't sure it would since i have fat cheeks!!! but it actually looks fine.

Because you have a round face try avoiding center parts so it slims your face. Also Round faces look good with layres but not supershort. Also one length with a shorter layre and bangs no faceframe. would all look great on you.

yes! well, your face shape is really important to what kinda hairstyle you should get, so look online to see examples of diff celebrities who have your face shape (ex: heart, square, oval, round) and look at some of the styles they choose that look flattering on them. Also, layers look nice. Do some more research, and don't get it cut till you know exactly what you want!

i know the layered hair with side-swept bangs is really in right now, and that's what my hair is kind of like, but i'm getting a haircut soon and i was hoping to find something NEW and DIFFERENT.

Bobs are really in, but there dozens of different "bobbed" looks, and ellipitical haircuts are part of that (longer on one side of the face than the other).....Have your hair cut above your shoulders and texturized (that's for volume and movement)...look at some of the new hairstyle magazines; choose a look or two and take it to a GOOD hairstylists who attends hair shows once or twice a year to get the newest looks!!

and if you have bangs use them to do a poof

a poof is where you pull your bangs back then push it up and it creates a poof

or get a short cut with layers and u can have those really cute little pigtails or ponytails

Claire's. You can buy small packs of them. Everyone at my school (including me xD) has them. They're black with different colored polka dots.

yes! wal-mart is a very good place for ribbons.... at wal mart they have the place for your fabrics and stuff and you pick out the ribbon and get it cut...DONT GO THERE!! lol if you walk towards your craft section they have little rolls of every type of ribbon you can think of lol there only like 1.00 a roll or less!! i absolutly love love love ribbons lol so yes wal mart is a place to get them lol hope this helps you out!!!
